How to Use Seedance 2.5 in Claude
Seedance 2.5 is available in CreativeClaw today. Connect CreativeClaw to Claude, request video/seedance-2.5, and Claude can generate premium native-audio video from text, images, or a multimodal reference pack without requiring a separate provider account.
The short version
- Model ID:
video/seedance-2.5 - Inputs: text-to-video, image-to-video, and reference-to-video
- Duration: 4–30 seconds
- Resolution: 480p, 720p, or 1080p
- References: up to 50 image, video, and audio references, subject to endpoint limits
- Pricing: 23 credits per output second at 480p, 49 at 720p, or 91 at 1080p
A five-second clip costs 115 credits at 480p, 245 credits at 720p, or 455 credits at 1080p. Reference-to-video can also bill for input video duration, so the final cost may be higher when video references are included. These tiers follow the current Pika Seedance 2.5 specification.
When to choose Seedance 2.5
Seedance 2.5 is a premium choice when the brief needs native audio, longer clips, multiple references, or strong control over a sequence. It is especially useful for:
- product and campaign films with several approved reference assets
- character, wardrobe, product, and location consistency in one generation
- clips that combine a visual brief with sound or motion references
- longer 4–30 second outputs that would otherwise require several separate shots
For a lower-cost first pass, start with the recommended default, Gemini Omni Flash, or use LTX 2.3 Fast or Veo 3.1 Lite. Move to Seedance 2.5 when its reference capacity or premium output is worth the higher rate.

Prompt pattern
Use Seedance 2.5 at 720p for an 8-second 16:9 product film.
Image 1 locks the character's identity and wardrobe.
Image 2 locks the product shape, materials, and logo.
Video 1 controls only body movement and camera rhythm.
Audio 1 controls dialogue timing.
0-3s: The character enters frame and picks up the product.
3-6s: The camera tracks alongside as they deliver the line.
6-8s: They place the product in the hero position and the camera settles.
Preserve face, hair, wardrobe, product geometry, logo, and room layout.
Continuous motion, natural room tone, no extra music.

FAQ
Can I use Seedance 2.5 in CreativeClaw now?
Yes. Request video/seedance-2.5 through CreativeClaw in Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, or another supported client.
Is Seedance 2.5 the default video model?
No. Gemini Omni Flash is the recommended default. Choose Seedance 2.5 when you need its longer duration, premium output, native audio, or multimodal reference capacity.
How much does Seedance 2.5 cost?
Seedance 2.5 costs 23 credits per output second at 480p, 49 at 720p, and 91 at 1080p. Video-reference input can add provider usage that is not fully predictable from a URL-only estimate.
Does Seedance 2.5 support 2K or 4K?
Not natively. The current Pika endpoints top out at 1080p. You can upscale a finished Seedance 2.5 clip to 2K or 4K, but that does not add the same source detail as a native render.
What should I use for cheaper drafts?
Start with Gemini Omni Flash, LTX 2.3 Fast, Veo 3.1 Lite, or Seedance 2.0 Mini, then move to Seedance 2.5 for the approved production direction.
